Nordisk Civitas respects visitors’ privacy. We use your personal information only to handle messages and orders and meet our legal obligations.
1. Information we receive
Through the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message so that we can review it and respond. The legal basis is the publisher’s legitimate interests.
Through the book order enquiry form, we receive your name, email address, number of copies and destination details to assess your enquiry and inform you of the final cost. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
If you make a purchase, we may need further information for payment and delivery.
2. Retention
Contact messages and order enquiries that do not result in a purchase are deleted no later than six months after the last correspondence.
Information about completed purchases and accounting records is retained in accordance with Swedish law.
3. Access to information
Your information is used only for the publisher’s activities. Web hosting and email providers and, if you make a purchase, payment and delivery providers may have access to the information they need.
We do not use your information to send unsolicited advertising or sell it for advertising purposes.
4. Technical information and cookies
The website does not use advertising cookies or tracking tools. Your language preference may be saved in your browser.
The hosting provider may record technical information, such as IP addresses and visit times, for the operation and security of the website and manage it under its own log retention policy.
5. Your rights and how to contact us
Under GDPR, where the relevant conditions apply, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your information, restriction of its use, object to certain processing, or request the transfer of your information.
